Yukyo Shuto was knocked in multiple positions in the infield and outfield for the WBC = World Baseball Classic at the spring camp of professional baseball and Softbank.

Shuto is one of the fastest players in the baseball world, having won the stealing king in 2020, and has been selected to represent Japan at the WBC in March.

Shuto received knocks in the second, short, third, and outfield, as he was required by the Japanese national team to be able to defend both the infield and outfield.

During the baserunning practice, I checked where I should step on the base to run smoothly when going around the second round, and how to make a start while watching the batting practice of other players.

Shuto expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I think I will be able to run faster if my power in the first step is increased. I would like to increase my muscle strength through weight training and prepare to be able to move steadily."
