The Emirates Exchange Federation announced the launch of the Mashreq Exchange Tour 2023, which includes a series of community tournaments for amateurs for the first time in the country.

The tour consists of 20 tournaments spread over eight weeks, starting from February until next December, and the total prizes for the first season amount to 350,000 dirhams.

Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, President of the Emirates Padel Federation, said: “The padel sport is very popular in the country, and we seek to enhance its spread by organizing major events at the state level, to improve the padel community, tournament standards and the competitive experience of the players. 2023 is a new chapter in the journey of this distinguished sport, and confirms our commitment to its continuous development locally. We hope that the tour will play a strategic role in achieving the federation’s goals represented in enhancing the standards of the game, taking care of all players, organizers and clubs, in addition to strengthening the country’s vision aimed at spreading the culture of sports in society. and emphasize its importance.

The Mashreq Exchange Tour will be held in its first season in four emirates: (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman), where players registered in the men's and women's categories or open categories will receive classification points according to their final arrangement in three competitions: UAEPA10, UAEPA100, and UAEPAE&E, which must include teams. Composed of two players, citizens and residents.

There is also a fourth competition for players under 16 years old, which is open to male and female players according to the category of the match, but it is not included in the classification.

The International Padel Tennis Academy will host the inaugural competitions in Dubai between the 17th and 19th of this month.
