His Highness added, “The plan, which extends from 2023 to 2033, aims to achieve significant growth in the sports sector, during these years its outcome will be: increasing the contribution of sport to the GDP from 2% to 4%, managing and organizing 3000 international, regional and local sports events, and hosting more than 1000 An international sports camp, increasing the percentage of organized sporting events with the support of the private sector to 90%, and other achievements that will have the greatest impact on achieving the great goals of the Council in managing and developing the sports sector in Dubai.

His Highness also directed the development of incentive measures, in cooperation with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, and the Dubai Health Authority, and the launch of an award granted to schools that apply best practices to preserve student health and prevent diseases, by adopting the approach of sports and physical activity, and other measures during study periods. .
