  The opening game will be held on February 2nd, Beijing time. The two sides will be the Egyptian Cairo National Team and the Auckland City Team from New Zealand.

  According to the arrangement of the event, Ma Ning will serve as the referee for the opening game, and Zhou Fei and Zhang Cheng will serve as assistant referees. This is also the first time that a three-member referee team from China will enforce this top FIFA event.

In addition, Fu Ming will serve as the assistant video assistant referee (AVAR) for this game, and the video assistant referee (VAR) is Spanish referee Martínez.

  In this Club World Cup, a total of 6 referee groups (3-person teams) and 8 video assistant referees from 5 confederations of confederations were selected to enforce the law.

Ma Ning had previously participated in law enforcement for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and Fu Ming had served as a VAR for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The four AFC referees selected are all from China.

  The Morocco Club World Cup will be held from February 1st to 11th, 2023 local time. Last season's Champions League champions Real Madrid, Copa Libertadores champions Flamengo and other intercontinental club champions will participate.
