Just before the end of the 2nd quarter, James passed the pass, and Schroeder threw a hasty shot from the half line and passed the rim.

Adding a lucky assist with a lucky buzzer beater, James posted 11 assists against the New York Knicks.

With 10,338 career assists, he moved into fourth place in career assists, surpassing both legends, Mark Jackson and Steve Nash.

Scoring 28 points, including 10 rebounds and an overtime wedge, James also recorded the first triple-double ever by a player with 20 or more seasons in the NBA.

His career scoring tally increased to 38,299, leaving only 89 points behind 'legend' Abdul-Jabbar's all-time scoring record, which no one seemed to be able to break.

His 20.9 point average in his debut season is the lowest in his career, and James, who has been on a scoring streak for 20 years, is averaging over 30 points this season, boasting tremendous athleticism and scoring power even at the age of 39.

The countdown has begun for the age-defying 'King' James to write a new NBA legend.
