At the Japan Curling Championships held in Kitami City, Hokkaido, nine men's and women's teams compete in round-robin matches in qualifying leagues, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.

In the women's team, Chubu Electric Power Co., who had won the second place in the previous tournament with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss, played against LS Kitami, which is home to Mari Motohashi, who leads the curling world, and earned a ticket to play as a wild card.



Chubu Electric Power took the lead in the 1st end, but after the 2nd end, they made a mistake on their shots. Leading against 4, it became a painful development.
