It was the traveling Danes who got to celebrate in Stockholm when Denmark won yet another WC gold.

The final against France got off to a flying start, but the French worked their way into the match and at halftime they led 16-15.

The match developed into a real thriller, but in the end the Danish stars showed their quality and took home the gold.

The victory numbers were written 34-29.

It was not mainly the fixed star Mikkel Hansen who delivered, but Hansen's replacements Rasmus Lauge and Simon Pytlick did instead.

Denmark has now taken three golds on the men's side and all of them have come since 2019.

Earlier in the evening, Sweden lost the bronze medal match against Spain.
