He missed the World Cup premiere in Ruka, but since then Walter Wallberg has shown that he can be counted on this season as well.

Last night he secured the season's best placing in the World Cup when he finished second in the Canadian Val Saint-Come behind home rider Mikael Kingsbury.

- The slope suited me very well.

It's a really good arena they've put together here.

It was nice to put down a good run and to start 2023 with a second place.

A good day on the slopes, says Wallberg in a press release.

The second best Swede was Filip Gravenfors, who finished in 15th place.
