It was definitely possible to argue that Malmö was the better of the two teams.

A game-wise advantage throughout the match which was also visible in the shot statistics (44-24).

But Brynäs, strengthened by the goalkeeper's play from Anders Lindbäck, took advantage of a game change where Anton Rödin played Dmytro Timashov to make it 1-0 at the beginning of the second period.

The 199-centimeter-tall Lindbäck continued to play big (he was also helped by his posts) and lined up several impressive saves.

But in the end he had to give in as Carl-Johan Lerby was given plenty of time to score the equalizer with less than a quarter of an hour left in regular time.

The 18-year-old decided

The upper hand continued for Malmö, who pressed for a lead goal.

Instead, it narrowed at the other end when Brynäs stepped up with a longer attack which ultimately resulted in 18-year-old Theo Lindstein scoring 2-1 for Brynäs with less than three minutes left.

It was the first career SHL goal for the back talent.

- It wasn't a high shot, but it was nice that it went in.

Great that we managed to get three points down here, says Theo Lindstein to C More.

On the other side, Malmö's coach Tomas Kollar was upset after the loss.

- I don't think much.

There is training on Monday and a new match on Tuesday.

We need to train well and play well, says a few words Tomas Kollar in C More who thought they should have had a penalty.
