IFK Värnamo wanted to keep him, but Marcus Antonsson was wanted after 20 goals in 30 games in the Allsvenskan last year.

Now it is clear that the 31-year-old is moving abroad after his second place in the shooting league.

Marcus Antonsson has signed for Al Adalah in the Saudi top flight, which has been thoroughly rewritten since Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Al Nassr after the World Cup.

Marcus Antonsson's Al Adalah, who face Al Nassr at the beginning of April, have not had a strong season and are in 15th place in the top league.

This means relegation to the second division if the team does not climb the table.

Antonsson has played for Halmstads BK, Kalmar FF, Malmö FF and IFK Värnamo in the Allsvenskan.

He has also been a professional abroad in both England and Norway.
