Manchester United put forward the final match of the English Professional Football Clubs Cup (Carabao Cup) this season, after its easy 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, on Wednesday, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the tournament.
Manchester United did not find the slightest difficulty in defeating its opponent in their own home, as its star Marcus Rashford opened the scoring early with a wonderful goal with a single effort in the sixth minute.

Dutch star Faust Fijhorst added United's second goal in the 45th minute, while Portuguese Bruno Fernandez ensured the third goal in the 89th minute.
This is the second victory achieved by Manchester United over Nottingham this season, after it had previously beaten it with the same result at Old Trafford, the stronghold of the team nicknamed the “Red Devils” last month in the English Premier League championship.
With that result, it became enough for United to lose by two goals in the return match that will be held at home next Wednesday, in order to advance to the final match in the tournament, while Nottingham must win by more than 3 goals, if it wants to continue its adventure in the competition.
It is noteworthy that the winner of that confrontation will meet in the final with the winner of the other semi-final confrontation between Newcastle United and Southampton.
Newcastle won 1-0 at Southampton Stadium in the first-leg match that was held on Tuesday, so that it is required to draw only in the second leg that will be held at its stadium next Tuesday.
