Barcelona dominate Spanish women's football and had no trouble advancing to the quarter-finals of the Copa de la Reina when Osasuna were thrashed 9-0.
However, there will be no further games in the Spanish Cup for Barcelona this season.
The Spanish Football Federation has concluded that Barcelona should be excluded because striker Geyse Ferreira was on the pitch against Osasuna.
Ferreira, who also scored in the game, was sent off in his last cup match last season and would therefore have been suspended.
Sevilla are also punished for the same reason as Barcelona.
Nagore Calderón was suspended but played in the semi-final against Villarreal.
Osasuna and Villarreal get Barcelona and Sevilla's places in the Spanish Cup quarter-finals.
