A French television report caused widespread criticism of the poor conditions of workers in the sports facilities that will host the Summer Olympics next year, the Paris 2024 Olympics. Some have even called for a boycott of the tournament.

The French BFM channel presented a special investigation that included testimonies of workers from African countries, including Mali, where they work in very bad conditions, and were denied their most important rights, such as sleeping in decent work accommodations and receiving their wages on time.

The financial young man who works without documents, called "Guy", said in his testimony that the wage conditions are very bad. For example, you can work for about 10 months and get paid one month, which is the same for his colleagues at work.

And the representative of the Free France Movement, Nadig Abomangoli, re-published her intervention at the beginning of this year regarding the alarming situation that accompanies the workers in charge of the 2024 Olympics facilities.

Au début du mois, j'alertais déjà le gouv sur un phénomène sous-estimé.

Les réponses du gouv, floues, ne sont pas à la hauteur

Former international player Ibrahim Thiam asked, "Where are those who were giving lessons? Let them see what is happening in their home before they go to others," referring to the campaigns launched against the Qatar World Cup last December.

Activists called for denouncing what is happening to the workers in the Paris Olympics, at a time when tweeters said that he would not witness any movement in particular, because criticism in the end is only related to the Arabs, according to their expression.

Before the start of the Qatar World Cup, French states had announced their boycott of the event and not broadcasting the French national team's matches on giant screens, especially in Paris, Strasbourg and Marseille, and despite that, the tournament's viewership achieved record numbers.
