Wilma Hellström made her World Cup debut last fall in Lyon & immediately hit the mark with a sixth place and has since made it to jump-offs in all her World Cup starts.

An impressive effort by Hellström and her 12-year-old mare Cicci.

- I know Cicci so well and I know she can.

We just mostly enjoy being at the competition, she and I, says Wilma Hellström to SVT Sport after today's sixth place.

Twelve crews went to the jump-off in Leipzig, Germany.

Once in the jump-off, Hellström and Cicci were one of six double flawless crews with a time that was enough for sixth place.

Advancing overall

A result that brought 11 new World Cup points to Hellström who advanced to ninth place in the VC overall which is topped by Henrik von Eckermann.

Hellström now has 41 points in total and storms towards a World Cup final in Omaha this spring.

Around 40 points are usually enough to be among the 18 best European riders who can start in the final.

Three sub-competitions, including the World Cup in Gothenburg, remain before the final field is ready.

The starting field's other Swedish crew, Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli and Kalinka van de Nachtegaele, had four errors in the preliminary round and finished in 16th place, with a new World Cup point.

In total, Angelica now has 21 World Cup points.
