Ronaldo played the entire game for his new club and came close to heading the cross that resulted in the only goal of the game, Anderson Talisca's 1-0 in the 31st minute.

A total of 22,862 spectators watched Ronaldo's debut at the stadium in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and a buzz went through the crowd as soon as he touched the ball and challenged the opposing defenders.

The Swedish national team member Robin Quaison was on the pitch in the opposing team Al-Ettifaq, but was replaced in the 81st minute.

Al-Nassr lead the Saudi league on 33 points, one ahead of runners-up Al-Hilal.
