Norwegian biathlon giant Johannes Thingnes Bö took his eleventh victory in the World Cup on Saturday.

He crushed all opposition at the start of the chase.

After the fourth and final shot, the 29-year-old turned to the stands - and quieted the crowd.

- I thought they made a bit too much noise, but when I cheered against them, they just made even more noise.

That's why I chose to be quiet, just to put on a little show, he says to NRK.

The star continues:

- They have to put up with a little arrogance sometimes.

Otherwise, the sport becomes gray and boring.

In fact, we already discussed in Ruhpolding (last competition) whether I should silence the crowd already before the last shot.

I considered doing it today, but it would have looked so stupid if I had swamped it.

That's why I kept quiet afterwards.

I freaked out.
