It was at the beginning of the second half that Andreas Palicka was sent off after punching Ellidi Snær Vidarsson in the stomach.

The Icelander, who also went out, lay down on the ball, which meant that Palicka, eager to counterattack, couldn't get to it.

- He lays down on the ball willingly and of course provokes me.

Then I try to get him off the ball.

Then he provokes further and then I will take the ball, bounce on the ball and hit him in the stomach, says Palicka to SVT Sport and continues:

- I explained to the Icelanders and to the judges that I am not like that.

It wasn't meant to be, but I understand that he gets annoyed there even though I said "I was sick of you at that moment, you know you're provoking me".

Palicka admits he made a mistake.

- I am no less human than I admit when I make a mistake and I told the judge that too.

But they also meant that he provoked strongly and that it was probably best that it was two minutes each so both had to calm down and we sorted it out.

Sweden won the meeting with Iceland 35-30 and is thus ready for the quarter-finals as a group.

Next up is Portugal on Sunday.
