Linn Svahn has yet to compete in the World Cup since she made a comeback after a long absence due to a shoulder injury.

There are two World Cup weekends left before the World Cup squad is selected, but Svahn himself has not yet given up hope of a place in the World Cup sprint.

In a month, the WC will begin in Planica, Slovenia, and if Linn Svahn is to take a place in the squad, she will probably need to do well both this weekend in Italian Livigno and the competitions in French Les Rousses.

- For me, it's just about wanting to go fast and if I do, there's no doubt that I'll have a WC ticket.

That's the only thing I'm focused on.

I hope that should be pretty self-explanatory.

If you win a World Cup race, it is clear that you will be out at the WC.

However, the sprint star is clear that the focus right now is not on the WC.

- You see it in a dramaturgical way, "she has to perform to get there".

I want to perform because I want to, not because I have to in order to get to the WC.

I do as I always do before a competition and push in the way that I think is most optimal.

It's genuinely the only thing I'm focused on, she says.

The 23-year-old says that her form is good and that she is looking forward to Saturday.

- I perform at my best in the World Cup circus, I always feel that is where I perform at my best.

I have a good feeling about the weekend.
