Yuki Soma of J1, Nagoya Grampus, who participated in the soccer World Cup held last year, has decided to transfer to a team in the first division of Portugal on a temporary basis.

Soma is 25 years old from Tokyo.

Despite his small stature of 1.66 cm, he is good at playing on the flanks, as he has the ability to dribble with his speed and get behind opponents.

He has played as a midfielder and forward for Nagoya Grampus since 2018, scoring 9 goals in 128 appearances.

He has also appeared in nine matches for the Japan national team, including starting in the second match against Costa Rica at the World Cup Qatar tournament held last year.

The club announced on the 20th that Soma will transfer to Casa Pia in the Portuguese first division league with a deadline until the end of June.

Soma said, "I am proud to have carried the Nagoya Grampus club on my back and participated in the Tokyo Olympics and the Qatar World Cup. Thank you very much to all of you who have supported me. I will become the world's SOMA." I am commenting through the club.
