Djurgården took the lead 1–0 after just over four minutes through Wiktor Nilsson, but then Modo turned around and scored three straight goals in the first period.

When then Mikkel Aagaard made it 5-2 with barely six minutes left to play in the second period, Djurgården changed goalkeepers when Carl Lindbom went out and Matthew Galajda came in.

Djurgården reduced through Jonathan Leekerimäki, but when the team was about to take out the goalkeeper at the end of the match, David Bernhardt put 6-3 in the open box.

- We show strong morale, we closed the match in the third period and did a good job in the match, says Modo's Mikkel Aagaard in C More.

The loss was Djurgården's sixth in a row and the team is in fifth place in the Hockeyallsvenskan.

Modo took their second straight victory and consolidated their series lead.

The teams meet again on Friday.
