The Sports Mirror Award can be awarded to the sportsman, sportswoman or the team who performed a remarkable performance in competition during the past year, and who, through their contribution, meant a lot to their sport.
The prize can also be awarded to the leader, researcher, activist or other person who, through their activities, has benefited sports from an ethical, medical, social or sporting point of view.
