After an initial fourth place in Val d'Isere, which was followed up with a seventh place in Madonna di Campiglio, things have gone significantly worse for Kristoffer Jakobsen after the turn of the year.

Today, in Wengen's World Cup slalom, came the 28-year-old's third consecutive ski down.

Snowed a lot

It came at the end of the second run.

Jakobsen, who was in 15th place after the first run, had 1.5 seconds to his credit on Alexander Steen Olsen, who was leading at the time.

He made some small mistakes in the heavy snowfall during the first half of the second run, but still had three tenths to go at the final split.

But then he straddled, and was thus noted for his third straight outing.
