The Snowboard and Big Air World Cup was held in Austria on the 14th, and the Japanese team dominated the podium, with 17-year-old Teikatsu Hasegawa winning the men's championship for the first time.

In the women's event, 18-year-old Kokoro Murase, bronze medalist in this event at the Beijing Olympics, came in third.

Snowboarding Big Air slides down a steep slope and jumps into the air, and the degree of difficulty and perfection of the technique is scored out of 100 points.



On the 14th, the final World Cup match of the season was held in Kreischberg, Austria.



Of these, the men's Hasegawa won the first World Cup with a high score of 94.25 in the first round and 91.75 in the second round with a total of 186.00.



Among the Japanese riders, 20-year-old Ryoma Kimata finished second with a total of 182.50, while 18-year-old Aoi Kimura, who was making his World Cup debut, finished third with a total of 181.75, dominating the podium.



On the women's side, 18-year-old Kokoro Murase, who won the bronze medal at last year's Beijing Olympics, finished third with a total of 174.50, standing on the podium for the first time this season.
