Ida Dahl has dominated the long-distance cup at the beginning of the season, and has also made her debut in the "regular" world cup.

But today, for the first time, there was a Ski Classics competition with a lady other than Dahl at the top of the podium.

"Not nearly as energetic"

With 4.5 km to go, she could no longer keep up with Astrid Öyre Slind and Emilie Fleten's pace.

- She doesn't look nearly as fit in her body today as she did yesterday and previous times.

It is a much heavier day today for Ida Dahl, noted SVT Sports expert Anders Blomquist.

Dahl finished third

Astrid Öyre Slind eventually won the race, her tenth win in the Ski Classics career, 3.5 seconds ahead of Fleten.

Dahl finished third, just over a minute behind the victorious Norwegian.

- New strong performance by Ida Dahl, but with her tough, tough program, the recovery was not enough for this race, says Blomquist.

On the men's side, it was the same winner as at the first three competitions this winter: Emil Persson.
