In a relocated meeting in Gloucester, the Varois won 35-23 against the English.

RC Toulon qualified for the round of 16 of the Challenge Cup by winning Sunday against Bath (35-23) on the third day of competition.

Originally scheduled for Saturday at the Recreation Ground in Bath but postponed due to heavy rains which flooded the stadium and its surroundings, the meeting finally took place on Sunday at Kingsholm Stadium in Gloucester.

Offensive bonus

The Toulonnais even seized the offensive bonus point after the siren by taking advantage of a ball messed up by the English touch in front of his in-goal.
