It was a thriller in the semifinals, where dream minutes gave Sweden the lead in the second period.

The third period was then intense and the USA pressed hard.

But Sweden held on and was finally able to celebrate the final place.

- It's of course a tough game to play, I think it's even from start to finish, but they put in an absolutely amazing effort and we really show that we are a team that plays hockey together.

I'm so proud, if I may say so, says captain Stella Lindell.

"Just go to 'Franken' and say thank you"

When she is asked about her feelings after the final whistle, she pays tribute to her teammate and goalkeeper Felicia Frank, who ended up at the bottom of the "TV puck pile" after big plays in the final period.

- It's a rush of happiness that fills the whole body and the audience is with us.

It's just up to "Franken" and thank her for being the goalkeeper she is, she says.

Frank herself says the following about her keeping calm when the US pressed:

- I'm confident in myself and I'm a calm goalkeeper so I don't get stressed easily.

Sweden is now in the final for the first time since 2018, when the medals were silver.

Lindell has hopes for more during tomorrow's final.

- Now we will celebrate a little and then we will focus on the match tomorrow, because there is one match left and we want to win it.
