Manchester summit and derby.

Fourth-placed Manchester United hosted second-placed Manchester City on Saturday.

The first half's best scoring chance came after 33 minutes played.

Marcus Rashford received the ball deep, rounded Ederson in the City goal and shot.

However, Manuel Akanji stood in the way, and the defender managed to clear the ball away.

Substitute scorer directly

A few minutes later it was time for Rashford again, but this time Ederson was quick to save.

City struggled to create scoring chances at Old Trafford.

In the 57th minute, Pep Guardiola therefore chose to replace Phil Foden, to bring in Jack Grealish.

The change would prove to be a successful move, as Grealish headed in 1-0 after barely three minutes on the pitch.

Lightning turnaround - after a disputed goal

But United did not give up on it.

In the 78th minute, Bruno Fernandes equalized, after a controversial situation.

Fernandes shot in 1-1 after an offside Rashford was played deep.

However, Rashord never touched the ball, and the referees ruled that the striker did not influence the game.

Just over four minutes later, United scored again.

After a play by Alejandro Garnacho on the left wing, Rashford was able to score 2–1.

The goal was the last of the match, and thus Manchester United could collect the season's first derby victory in the Premier League.

With the result, United is third, only one point behind Manchester City in the table.
