Axel Bergkvist scored his first SHL goal when Färjestad won

The reigning champions defeated HV71 at home on Saturday.

After a goal by Oscar Lawner in the first period, Axel Bergkvist was able to extend the lead in the second.

The goal was 22-year-old Bergkvist's first in the SHL.

Bergkvist left Mora for Färjestad ahead of this season.

Färjestad won 3–1 after Andy Miele and Ville Pokka also scored.
