The entrance march for the opening ceremony of Senbatsu High School Baseball, which will open at Koshien Stadium in March, has been announced, and the theme song for the NHK TV series "Maiagare!", back number "I Love You" has been decided.

Every year, the marching song for the opening ceremony of Senbatsu High School Baseball held at Koshien Stadium is selected from hit songs and songs that reflect the current state of society.

This year, it was decided to be a three-piece band that is popular with the younger generation, back number's "I Love You".

"I Love You" is a song that gently talks about wanting to feel the happiness found in casual everyday life with the people you care about.

It's the theme song for the NHK TV series "Maiagare!", which is currently being broadcast, and it was also performed at the New Year's Eve last year.

Takano Ren = Japan High School Baseball Federation and others say that the reason for the song selection is that "the refreshing and relaxed melody is familiar to many generations, including high school students."

Vocal Iyori Shimizu, who was in charge of writing and composing the song, commented, "I'm very happy to be involved in this historic competition in such a wonderful way."

This year's Senbatsu High School Baseball will feature 36 schools, four more than usual, in the 95th anniversary tournament.

Participating schools will be decided on the 27th of this month, and the tournament will start on March 18th.
