Vietnam's national hero, coach Park Hang-seo, leaves the Vietnam national team after the Southeast Asian Cup.

Now, only the match against Thailand remains.

Coach Park looked back on the past 5 years in an interview with SBS and promised his last winning gift.

This is Reporter Kim Hyeong-yeol.

Coach Park Hang-seo, who is about to say goodbye to the players he has been fond of, led training in a brighter and more pleasant way.

[Park Hang-seo/Vietnamese national soccer team coach: (To the players) 'Don't think about doing something for me.

Just because this is the last one is nothing new.

(As usual), (players), don’t be burdened.”

Coach Park became a national hero by writing a lot of history, such as advancing to the final World Cup finals for the first time in Vietnamese soccer history, semi-finals in the Asian Games, and winning the Southeast Asian Cup. He said he did not renew the contract because he felt it was time to leave.

[Park Hang-seo/Vietnamese soccer team coach: (I am) not a hero.

I think I have achieved my goal in my football life.

But I can't achieve that alone (with my strength).]

He said he was sorry for the big ceremony in the face-to-face confrontation with his junior Shin Tae-yong and coach Kim Pan-gon,

[Park Hang-seo/Vietnamese national soccer team coach: The moment I scored a goal, I saw the whole world. I think I got it.

I ask for your understanding (even the big ceremony moves).]

He said that he would no longer be a coach in Vietnam, where he poured out everything without regret, and in Korea, where there are many great junior leaders.

He also said that he was happy to play a small role as a football coach for the past five years and as a civilian diplomatic envoy linking Korea and Vietnam.

[Park Hang-seo/Vietnamese soccer team coach: (I) want to be remembered as a happy soccer coach, and 'Park Hang-seo was a Korean.

And he was kind and liked

our Vietnam.'

[Park Hang-seo/Vietnamese national soccer team coach: I will do my best as a coach to deliver the good news by playing the final final.]
