Who will succeed Morocco, double defending champion?
Algeria is hosting the 7th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) from January 13 to February 4, 2023.
The CHAN is a competition organized by the Confederation of African Football, an equivalent of the CAN but reserved for players playing in the national championships.
The draw:
The 18 teams first compete in a group stage, at the end of which the first and second in groups AB and C, as well as the first in groups D and E are qualified for the quarter-finals.
Group A (Algiers): Algeria, Libya, Ethiopia, Mozambique
Group B (Annaba): DR Congo, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Senegal
Group C (Constantine): Morocco, Sudan, Madagascar, Ghana
Group D (Oran): Mali, Angola, Mauritania
Group E (Oran): Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, Niger
