It was 180 games and 66 goals for Nabil Bahoui in AIK.

During Tuesday, it is clear that the 31-year-old striker is leaving the Stockholm club.

Bahoui's contract with AIK expired after the turn of the year, and today "Gnaget" confirms that he is leaving.

- We want to thank Nabil for his time in AIK.

He has for a long time contributed a lot of points in the black and yellow jersey and we wish him the best of luck in his continued career, says Manuel Lindberg, CEO/club director and acting director of sports in AIK to the club's website.

Criticizes the club

The announcement has not been well received by Bahoui, who has taken to social media to criticize AIK.

"I am very disappointed with how this has been handled, I have always wanted to stay in AIK, I have a big AIK heart and love the club.

I would have liked to be on this journey with a new coach in whom I believe a lot," he writes on Instagram and continues:

"Brännan (Andreas Brännström, coach) has been clear to me that he really wants me to stay but there are others in the club who for some reason don't want me to stay, I know who they are and I will talk more about it in the future .”

Bahoui was recruited as a young talent from Brommapojkarna to AIK ahead of the 2013 season.

At the time of writing, the striker has not finalized a new club address.
