After his remarks on Zinédine Zidane, causing indignation within the world of football and up to the highest summit of ministries, would Noël Le Graët be in danger?

If the Minister of Sports cannot dismiss the president of the FFF, the latter is pushing the committee to do so, and is already thinking of his replacement.

After his remarks about Zinédine Zidane, which many consider a lack of respect for a football monument, the president of the French Football Federation (FFF) has drawn the wrath of part of the media scene, and even of the highest peak of the Ministry of Sports.

"I no longer want these situations where it trips, I no longer want these exits from the road", explained during a press conference on Monday, the Minister of Sports Amélie Oudéa-Castéra.

Statements that should not help Noël Le Graët, while an audit is responsible for investigating suspicions of sexual harassment at the French Football Federation. 

Michel Platini soon at the head of the FFF?

So, tired of repeated slippages, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra is already starting to think of a successor with a name at the top of the list: Michel Platini.

The former player of the Blues and ex-boss of UEFA, at the beginning of the year, had not closed the door to take the head of the federation.

A meeting between the two parties is scheduled in a month.

But a detail could disturb the will of the Minister of Sports.

Because the latter cannot remove the president of the FFF from his post.

If she does not have the power, the latter pushes the executive committee of the federation to separate from the 81-year-old man.

An idea that is beginning to resonate with some members, who believe it is time to turn the page.
