The World Ski Championships will take place in Planica, Slovenia, from 22 February to 5 March.
To prepare for the world championship, Ebba Andersson is in hard training.
The idea was to make a competitive comeback in Rovaniemi, Finland this weekend, but it was canceled due to the cold.
Instead, ski competitions await in Falun on the weekend of January 13-15, and then the World Cup in both Les Rousses on January 27-29 and Toblach on February 3-5.
- I've had quite a few weeks now outside the competition track.
Instead, I've had to spend the last few weeks training here.
In time, I will have the opportunity to compete, and that is step number one.
Then I'll see a bit after that how the body responds, how I feel I'm in phase and then we'll put together a plan for the final preparations before the WC, says Ebba Andersson.
Aiming for WC gold
Despite the non-optimal upload, she dreams of the noblest denomination at the WC.
In the last WC in Oberstdorf, she won two bronze medals.
- Yes, but the WC is the biggest thing this season.
I have two individual medals already, and now I aim higher than that.
I aim very high.
I feel that it still feels reasonable despite the covid disease.
I have been able to take it easy and get back to training well, says Ebba Andersson.
- So for now the dream and ambition to be at the top is still alive and fighting.
