Frida Karlsson went into the wall on the final stage of the Tour de Ski but managed to hold on and take the overall victory by a margin of 39 seconds.

After the finish, she collapsed and was treated for a long time before being carried away on a stretcher.

Moa Ilar and Anna Dyvik waved television cameras away from their teammate.

- Anna and I did our utmost to cover her, says Ilar and at the same time pays tribute to the Swedish winner.

- I'm not surprised, Frida is stubborn.

She is magical, absolutely incredible, what a race she does anyway.

Anna Dyvik says that they have seen Frida Karlsson completely exhausted before.

- She's insanely good at being able to get out in that way.

Then it's scary to see her.

But it's tough, there are many days of competitors and this hill is really hard.

Then there is a lot of tension for her too, so it is not strange, she says and continues:

She also hails Karlsson as overall winner.

- Very cruel.

I remember when Charlotte Kalla won and how big it was.

Now Frida wins, I'm proud of her.
