The mass start over 15 kilometers classic in Val di Fiemme was decided first on the run.

Both Calle Halfvarsson and William Poromaa were involved and fought for the podium places at the end but had no success in the race.

Instead, the Swedes finished in fifth and sixth place.

For Halfvarsson, it still means that he retains second place overall in the tour, 1.02 minutes behind leader Johannes Höstflot Kläbo.

The Norwegian won the stage, which means he has won every race so far in the Tour de Ski.

Behind him, Pål Golberg finished second.

He is twelve seconds behind Halfvarsson in the summary.

Erik Rosjö was the third best Swede in 17th place, just 14 seconds behind Kläbo.

William Poromaa, who had a lead-heavy day yesterday when he was washed and suffered a three-minute time extension, is 26th overall, 5.02 minutes behind the lead.
