Bayern Munich, the leaders of the German league table, announced the absence of its Moroccan international defender, Naseer Mazraoui, from his training camp, which begins tomorrow, Saturday, in the State of Qatar, due to a heart problem.

The "Bavarian" team went to the Qatari capital, Doha, today, Friday, to set up its usual winter training camp, with the participation of newcomer Dutch defender Daley Blind, at a time when the list was devoid of the name of Mazrawi.

It is noteworthy that the left back of the team, Alphonso Davies, was absent from the ranks of Bayern for several months last year due to a different problem in the heart.

Marcel Sabitzer was also absent from Bayern's list heading to Qatar due to his suffering from influenza, according to Bayern Munich.

Manuel Neuer, Lucas Hernandez, Sadio Mane and Bona Sarr were also absent from the list of 24 players due to injury, and the French Dayot Obamecano, Kingsley Coman and Benjamin Pavard, as their vacation was extended after reaching the 2022 World Cup final with the French national team, and the three will join the team camp in Qatar at a later time.

Bayern Munich hoped that he would have a new goalkeeper when he went to the camp, in the absence of Neuer until the end of the season, but a member of the Board of Directors for Sports Affairs, Hasan Salihamidzic, said at the airport, "We are evaluating the available options and we will reach a decision in the near future."

Swiss goalkeeper Jan Sommer, whose contract with Borussia Monchengladbach expires at the end of the current season, appears to be a strong candidate to join Bayern.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann seeks to prepare Bayern Munich for the second half of the season through the training camp, which will be held in Doha for 6 days.

Bayern Munich stumbled early in the season, but recovered well, and excelled at the top by 4 points, before resuming his career in the competition against Leipzig on January 20.
