Tiril Udnes Weng is the one who is chasing Frida Karlsson in the Tour de Ski.

The Norwegian made up a lot of time after her second place in the sprint, while Frida Karlsson went out already in the quarter-finals.

But the fact that the distance was more than halved from 1.28 to 41 seconds does not affect much, says Udnes Weng.

- I brought in a little, but it's probably not enough.

I probably need to focus more on those back than looking ahead.

“Has so much self-awareness...”

Have you given it up?

- I will give everything I have, but I have so much self-awareness that I know I need a big lead before Sunday and I think that will be tough to achieve.

Before tomorrow's penultimate stage, 15 kilometers, she has no hopes of equalizing.

- I will go to keep up as long as possible, she says.

"Sounds a bit strange"

Swedish national team coach Anders Högberg agrees that the last two stages suit Frida Karlsson well, but thinks the Norwegian's words are a bit special.

- It sounds a bit strange, it must be her words in that case.

There are two stages left and you have to cross the finish line at the top before the race is over.

Krista Pärmäkoski is third overall, 1.05 behind Frida Karlsson.

Lotta Udnes Weng is fourth 1.27 behind and five seconds behind her is Kertuu Niskanen fifth.
