China News Service, January 3rd. The World Badminton Federation recently announced the income list of badminton players for the 2022 season.
Denmark's Victor Axelsen, who won six tour titles over the past year, topped the list with $404,125.
Japan's Akane Yamaguchi came in second with $268,300.
Ranked third is Tai Ziying from Chinese Taipei.

Among the top 10 players, there are also members of the Chinese badminton team.
Huang Yaqiong ranked fourth with $248,155, and her partner Zheng Siwei ranked fifth with $240,662.
In addition, singles player Chen Yufei ranked sixth with $191,075, and He Bingjiao ranked seventh with $190,650.
Women's doubles world champions Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan tied for ninth, earning $141,323 each.
The men's doubles pair Liu Yuchen/Ou Xuanyi followed closely behind, ranking 11th.
