Olympique de Marseille won 2-1 on Monday evening in Montpellier during the 17th day of Ligue 1, signing a fourth victory in a row which allows them to keep the pace imposed by Lens.

The Olympians, who remain on the third step of the podium, four points behind the Lensois and eight from PSG, found the opening in the 47th minute through Nuno Tavares and doubled the lead on an own goal from Maxime Estève under pressure from Chancel Mbemba in the 61st.

Téji Savanier revived the suspense on penalty (90th + 1) while OM were down to ten after the expulsion of Tavares three minutes earlier.
