Argentine star Lionel Messi sent an impressive message to his followers on the occasion of the new year 2023, after last year ended with his crowning of the biggest titles, the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, at a time when German star Mesut Ozil wished everyone a successful start in the new year.

Messi said, through his Instagram account, yesterday, Saturday, in a post that he attached to his photos with members of his family, “A year ends that I will never forget. The dream (coronation of the World Cup) that I have always sought has become a reality, but this would not be of value without the fact that I share it with my family.” Brilliant, the best he could get, and some friends who always support me and never let me stay on the ground every time I fall."

"I also want to have a very special memory for all the people who follow and support me. It's great to be able to share this path with all of you," the Paris Saint-Germain star added.

Messi continued, "It would be impossible to reach where I reached; I received a lot of encouragement from all the people in my country, as well as from Paris and Barcelona and from many other cities and countries from which I was receiving affection."

The Argentine star concluded his message, hoping that the new year will be wonderful for everyone, and he said, "I wish you all health and strength to continue happiness in 2023."
