Cut off from Messi and Neymar, PSG are heading towards their meeting with Lens with some handicaps.

The two leaders of the classification will face each other on Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m., and Christophe Galtier has already announced the meeting of two beautiful teams which will surely offer "a great evening" to the supporters.

First day of the year 2023 and already a first shock in Ligue 1. This Sunday evening, at 8:45 p.m., Racing Club de Lens, second in the standings, receives Paris Saint-Germain, leader of the competition.

The Parisians have already won this week during their recovery against Strasbourg, but they will present themselves diminished in Pas-de-Calais.

"A Great Poster"

Between Lionel Messi who continues to celebrate his World Cup victory in Argentina, and Neymar stupidly expelled this Wednesday, PSG must rethink their entire attack.

If the inevitable Mbappé will be present, he could well be alone against the Lensois, undefeated at home.

RC Lens also impresses the Parisian coach, Christophe Galtier.

"It has become a big team in Ligue 1, by the number of points they have and the quality of play that Lens can offer," said the coach.

"In my eyes, on this first game of the championship, it is surely the most difficult opponent that we will play. We have all the ingredients for it to be a great poster and a great evening."

As always, the Bollaert stadium will be full as an egg for this meeting: more than 38,000 spectators, including a thousand Parisians.

The icing on the cake, as Christophe Galtier says.

The atmosphere promises to be festive for this first game of the year.
