Today's hunt start in Val Müstair, Switzerland, ended with Norwegian victory and a Swedish third place through Frida Karlsson.

Another Swede who made a strong effort was Ida Dahl, the 26-year-old who made her Tour de Ski debut yesterday.

Ida Dahl went out as number 28 in the chase start but managed to climb a full 14 places.

Dahl finished in 14th place.

- I am delighted, I had a good day and good skiing.

- I am a person who likes to open hard, so it was perhaps a rather intense opening, but you have to bet to win.

When you see people in front of you, you get tagged, you just want to catch up.

Next up in the Tour de Ski is 10 kilometers classic style with individual start.

The race is run in German Oberstdorf on January 3rd.

- I am looking forward to that race very much.

Just start preparing.

What is your goal in that race?

- The goal is to pick another top 15 position, says Ida Dahl.
