Ida Dahl, who is a star in Ski Classics, is on Saturday morning at the start of the freestyle sprint in the Swiss Val Müstair.
If I had said a year ago that you would sprint in the Tour de Ski, what would you have said?
- Then I would have thought you were joking, I probably wouldn't have believed it, says Dahl to SVT Sport.
According to her, it had been three or four years since she competed in the discipline.
- It feels great, it will be exciting to test this again now.
I've done it sometime a long time ago, I'm looking forward to it.
- We have to hope that the beats are in place.
Ida Dahl has a junior SC bronze in the freestyle sprint and as a senior has reached the semifinals as the best at a SC, that was in Skellefteå 2018.
What will be the objective?
- It will probably be to get on from the qualifiers first and foremost, she says.
