Summit in the bandy Elitserien on Friday evening between Västerås and Edsbyn.

Before the match, Västerås was one point ahead of the reigning champion in the table.

Edsbyn started the scoring, the returning Christian Mickelsson was freed and safely put the ball in the goal.

Västerås equalized after just over a quarter of an hour, and before halftime they took the lead 2–1 and also extended it to 3–1, the latter a fine game goal where Viktor Spångberg scored the goal.

Dramatic ending

Västerås looked to be heading for a certain victory with a 5–2 lead when seven minutes remained.

Then the faithful Per Hellmyrs reduced and in the 90th minute Mickelsson reduced once more and put a real nerve in the match.

Edsbyn chased, but VSK held off and won the summit 5–4.

- We make a good solid effort today, says VSK's goalkeeper and birthday boy in Elitserienlive.

With that, Västerås consolidates second place, after the victory, Edsbyn is three points behind.
