The Italian club Fiorentina expressed its adherence to the services of its Moroccan player, Sofiane Amrabat, and its unwillingness to release him during the upcoming winter transfer period, despite the attractive offers that he received from the largest clubs in the old continent, especially from the Spanish and English leagues.

The shares of the “Atlas Lions” star rose significantly and became one of the most important names traded before the upcoming “Winter Mercato”, after his remarkable brilliance with the Moroccan national team during the recent World Cup in Qatar, and leading his country to reach the semi-finals, in an unprecedented Arab and African achievement.

The Italian newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport" (gazzetta) quoted sources in the "Viola" club's management as confirming that the club "is in dire need of the services of the midfield star, and is not currently considering dismissing him despite the attractive offers."

The same sources confirmed that Fiorentina began seriously considering activating a clause in the contract that would allow the club to extend the link between them to an additional year, i.e. 2025, in exchange for additional financial privileges, knowing that the current contract linking the two parties will expire on June 30, 2024, and is not waiting. The club only returned the player from his vacation in the Persian Gulf in order to complete it.

In the same context, the Italian club confirmed that contacts had taken place from English football giants Liverpool and Tottenham, and it also revealed that two clubs from the Spanish Premier League had entered the line of negotiation with the player, namely Seville and Atletico Madrid.

In addition to the "Premier League" and "La Liga" duos, Italian press reports revealed that the French Saint-Germain team was also interested in the services of the Moroccan star.

And the Italian newspaper "Tuttomercato" reported that the Parisian club entered the Amrabat deal line strongly, with the help of his teammate Ashraf Hakimi, who might actually convince him to wear the shirt of the Capital of Lights team, according to the newspaper.

The current value of Amrabat rose to about 25 million euros, according to the global “transmarket” website that specializes in the player transfer market, which is the highest value in the player’s path, but estimates indicate that the value of his transfer may reach 45 million euros if it took place during next winter transfer period.

Fiorentina had signed the Moroccan star from his compatriot Verona for 18 million euros, in addition to two million euros in variables, and he imposed himself as one of the main elements in the midfield of the Italian team since his first season with him.
