Chinanews.com, December 30th. On December 29th local time, Pele, the "ball king", died of multiple organ failure caused by colon cancer at the age of 82.

FIFA wrote an article reviewing Pele's career. He was once named the greatest player of the 20th century and the only player in history to win the World Cup three times.

  Bailey was born on October 23, 1940 in Tres Colasos, Brazil, and was selected for the Brazilian national football team in 1957.

Pele represented Brazil in winning three World Cups in 1958, 1962 and 1970.

After retiring, Pele was awarded many honors by the International Olympic Committee and FIFA.
