Argentine star Sergio Aguero, the former Manchester City and Barcelona player, surprised his followers by announcing his decision to return to playing football again, after announcing last year that he would retire from playing permanently, after suffering from heart problems, but his return this time will be through a completely different league and competition portal.

And the Spanish newspaper "Mundodeportivo" reported - today, Thursday - that Aguero will become the number 12 player in the "Koni Sports" team practicing in the "Kings League", which was launched by former Barcelona star Gerard Pique.

This league consists of 12 teams, each team consisting of 7 players, and will feature the participation of a group of formerly brilliant stars, such as former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas and Juan Capdevia.

During a meeting on the direct transmission platform "Twitch", the 12 players who will make up the "Kony Sports" club practicing in this league were reviewed, and Martin Bossi, the former striker of Espanyol Barcelona, and a member of the team announced that the number 12 player in the ranks of the team would be a big surprise.

Immediately after that, Agüero received the speech, and said loudly: "It is the universe Agüero," after which applause and shouts of admiration rose from the audience.

In his first statements after the announcement, Aguero expressed his great happiness at returning to play the game again through this league, and the Argentine star said on this occasion: "I am very happy, in many matches I will be here, and we will see what I can offer."

On the same occasion, Aguero revealed that he suffers from muscle problems, but made it clear that he is recovering from them little by little, and is undergoing treatment on a regular basis.

He concluded by saying, "I want to score as many goals as possible, even more than I've scored before."

It is noteworthy that Aguero announced on December 15, 2021, during a press conference, that he would permanently retire from playing after it was proven that he was suffering from a heart disease, and at that time marked the end of an 18-year football career, during which he scored on more than 400 occasions.
