Marco Verratti will wear the PSG jersey for a few more years.
The capital club announced the extension of the Italian midfielder's contract until 2026, just before the kick-off on Wednesday of the match against Strasbourg.

With this extension, the 30-year-old "Little Owl" should break the record for games played for PSG, held by Jean-Marc Pilorget (435).
The Italian indeed played his 399th meeting in red and blue against Racing.
"This is very good news for the club and for the coach that I am," said Christophe Galtier.

“It is an immense pride to extend my contract with Paris Saint-Germain,” reacted Verratti in a statement from the club.
“It was obvious to me that my story would continue to be written here”.
