Ida Dahl has dominated Ski Classics this winter, and won all competitions in the long-distance cup.

This winter she also made her debut in the "regular" World Cup, and came 16th in the Davos 20 km race.

- It's been going straight up almost the whole time, it's sick when you think about it... that it's gone so well, I have a little difficulty understanding it myself.

It's a lot of fun and you can only hope it continues like that, she told SVT Sport earlier this winter.

Finished before Christmas

Yesterday there was further proof of how well things have gone for her, when the Swedish Skiing Association announced that Dahl is in the Swedish Tour de Ski squad.

- I had a little idea that I would be asked to run the tour, but nothing was clear until just before Christmas.

It feels great fun and exciting to be asked the question.

At the same time, Ski Classics is my main focus this season, so I don't want my results there to be negatively affected by running the tour.

And I don't think it will, says Dahl to langd.se, and explains that before the season she had no thoughts about running the Tour de Ski.

- No, I have absolutely not had a thought about it.

But it feels like a receipt that it went well, and a fun Christmas bonus.
